On the page concearing the de le Roke family in Flobecq and Ellezelles we learned that the de le Rocque familyname was sometimes registered as de le rocq.
At the end of the 16th century, for the first time, we found the ortography delrocq, at Ellezelles.
In the oldest baptesimal register of Ellezelles, which has obviously suffered a lot through the ages, we found that on february 27 of 1598 was baptised franchoise delrocq, daughter of Jacques and marie des pretz.
Her godfather was Jan Sausoit and her godmother was franchoise del rocq.
The following record in this baptesimal register was the baptism on february 28 in 1598 of Jacques le latteur, son of franchois and pasquette buisson.
His godfather was Jan del rocq and his godmother was Jacqueline coux.
